Final Project Update

I have been posting more on my Instagram story. I have added five story highlights on my page: one for more poetry I don’t post with my coffee, my plants/animals, other creative things I’m working on (for example, I posted a picture of my camera there the other day), inspiration, and what I’m currently reading. I chose these five things to add, because I think they are relatable, and also things people would want to see. I mean, who doesn’t want to see cute, fuzzy animals who are trying to help me write? (Though it’s probably more likely that they’re trying to distract me from writing).

I have been receiving more likes on my posts than I did at the beginning (and I even have gotten a few comments!). It has been really fun to watch my account grow (though while I have been growing in likes, I haven’t been growing in followers. I’m not really sure how to do that). I still haven’t decided if I want to keep it anonymous or maybe actually put my name on my page. I do think that regardless of what I decide to do, I will keep up with this page even after this project is over.

I have really enjoyed making/keeping up with this Instagram page. It has made me more comfortable sharing my poetry/writing with the world, and I think it has helped me be more creative, which is always a positive.
